20 New Neighbors Joined Last Week! Let’s Talk About What That Means 🤗

I’m excited to share that we recently welcomed 20 new members to the Modern Eco Village!! That is 20 more people who have said yes to a more intentional and connected way of living. If you are one of them, welcome. And if you have been here for a while, thank you for being a part of this incredible movement with us. 🫶🏼

With each new member, the MEV vision becomes more real. But what exactly are we building together? What makes the MEV so special?

The Modern Eco Village is built around a simple truth: we’re not meant to live disconnected, rushed, and overwhelmed. The MEV isn’t about escaping life, it’s about returning to what makes it truly meaningful: community, connection, and peace. It offers a way back– to wellness, nature, and to each other. So What Does It Really Mean to Be a Member of MEV?

Members also get personal guidance from our team with any specific questions or concerns.

🤝 Meet Future Neighbors. Connect in member-only Zoom calls, in-person gatherings, and our community chats to start building friendships that will feel like home before you even move in.

🌱 The Opportunity to Work From Within. Want to start a business, teach yoga, or work in the MEV? Members will have exclusive hiring priority as we establish the running facilities. Members will have the opportunity to work within the MEV, living a purpose-driven life supported by a thriving internal economy we will cultivate here.

Now that you know what it means to be part of the MEV, we’d love for you to experience it in person. Come experience the MEV at our next community gathering on Friday, July 5th. We’re making this one extra special, holding it in our future MEV plaza! 

This gathering is open to everyone! Feel free to bring a friend or loved one. Whether you're already a member or just exploring, it’s the perfect chance to see the first phase taking shape, meet future neighbors, and connect with the MEV team.

What to Expect

• Meet fellow members, future neighbors, and the MEV team at the office

• Talk directly with our lead architect and project team, ask questions, and envision your life here

• Hear exclusive updates regarding the project’s progress and updates 

• Drive to the plot and explore the village, panoramic views, and the areas everyone seems to fall in love with

• Have a relaxed sunset picnic with music and meaningful conversation

What to Bring

• Comfy shoes to walk in

• Long pants to protect your legs from tall grass and thorns

• A hat or glasses to protect from long sun exposure

• Your favorite snacks and/or drink to share for the potluck

• And maybe a good story or two..we’ll bring the good vibes ✨

🚸 Last but not least, we still need your help naming the streets and community areas! Recently, we sent out a short form inviting everyone to share meaningful names they’d love to see brought to life in the village. Some of our favorites so far are Peach Street, Verde Lane, MEV Plaza, Olive Grove, Paseo del Águila, and more. 🌳
