From gathering to growing and what’s new in the MEV ☀️

Hi everyone, Cassie here. 👋 Just wanted to pop in with a few updates from the village, both what’s been happening lately and what’s coming up.

As you know, we had a small gathering at the MEV last week, and it was honestly one of those days that reminded us why we’re doing this. It was held right in the future plaza at the center of the village, and the space was still under construction, but you could still feel the magic of the village. The sun was shining through the trees, the food was simple, kids were playing, and we had great conversations with new friends and neighbors. It felt special in a way that’s hard to put into words. The wildest part is that this will likely be the last time our gatherings feel that small and intimate. From here on out, both the gatherings and the community will only continue to grow. 💛Here’s a short video with a few moments from the gathering: watch it on Instagram  

📅 Next gathering: September 22

For some reason, nearly everyone we’ve talked to lately has said they’re planning to visit in September (must be the weather 🍂), so we’re getting ready for a BIG one. We’ll have cozy picnic spots, hammocks, swings, toys for the kids, and a few special surprises just for you. 😉 

And since this will be our largest gathering yet, we really need your help with making sure there’s enough food and space for everyone. So please RSVP here and let us know how many people will be joining you 😊. If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to visit the land and experience the project in person, this is it, you won’t want to miss this one.

"What if I can't make the gathering in September?" 👀

We’re now offering guided tours to help you get a feel for the land, explore your future plot, ask your questions in person, and meet others who are also exploring the possibility of living here. It’s a perfect opportunity to see if this life speaks to you.

Here are the upcoming tour dates for July (all in CET, as the tours take place on-site in Planes, Spain):

• Wednesday, July 16 at 6:00 PM

• Friday, July 25 at 9:30 AM

• Monday, July 28 at 6:00 PM

Meet the people who will live in the Modern Eco Village 👋

Many have asked questions about the type of people who will be living in the village, so we’ve been working on gathering some short profiles of our future neighbors who will be living in the village (the list won’t include all members because some choose to be private and we want to respect that). But very soon, you’ll be able to see both our team and current members, and everyone who is shaping this community from the ground up. You’ll hear what drew them to MEV, what they’re hoping to create here, their future roles, and how they imagine their daily life in the village. 😄

🔖 Reminder: price increase coming August 1st

If you’ve been looking into joining the Modern Eco Village, just a quick reminder that house prices will go up on August 1st. This means that anyone who becomes a member before that date will lock in the current house prices before they increase. So just sharing this reminder to make sure everyone has time to ask questions and explore their options before then. If you have any questions or doubts, please reach out to us and we’re happy to help. 😊 message us here.

Please note that becoming a member is the very first step to take before reserving your specific house in the village. To start the process of joining the MEV, please take contact with our team here and we can help you with this step, or you can book a 15-min call with Alisa or one of our team members.
