What to expect: We’ll meet you at the site at the scheduled time and take you on a guided walk through the land, including the villa and townhouse areas, the newly cleared sections, the plaza, and the Phase 1 plots, all while enjoying the beautiful views that make this place so special. ☀️ You will get a better feel for the land and where your future house could be.


What to bring: We recommend bringing water, comfortable shoes to walk in, long pants for high grass, and sun protection. As for the duration of the tour -- it can last anywhere between 1-3 hours, it just depends on what you'd like to see and how many questions you and others may have. :)

🗑️ Second Round of Trash Pick-Ups

Saturday, Sept 6th at 9am

We will provide: trash bags, gloves, trash pick up sticks


Our first round of clean-ups was a success, if you're nearby, join us for our second! We’ve gotten a positive response from residents of Planes so far, as we picked up trash around the lake, an act that hasn’t been done in YEARS. So, together with the villagers, we'll be picking up more trash to continue building relationships and support for this project. We’re committed to keeping the forests, lakes, mountain pools, and biodiversity around the community healthy and thriving.

 

A true village is about bringing everyone together who feels connected to this place, so we can preserve and enjoy it together. We enjoy it so much, we are planning on hosting a clean up every month! 😄

🧺 September Pot-Luck Gathering

If you’ve been thinking about visiting, September is a perfect time! We are anticipating our biggest gathering yet, with around 80 people who have already rsvp’d. These gatherings are always open to everyone who want to learn more about the MEV, meet future neighbors and friends, and have a good time while they're at it 😄


Event details:


4:00 PM — ⛰️🚶‍♀️Meet at the MEV site + guided tour

We’ll first gather at the MEV Plaza (where our communal areas will be built) to welcome you and introduce you to the group. From there, you can either explore the land on your own or join the guided tour. If you prefer to stay put, you can relax at the Plaza and enjoy the views. We’ll have hammocks, picnic blankets, kids’ games and toys, swings, music, and drinks set up for you.


6:30 PM-7:30 PM — 🌄 Picnic potluck + sunset

After the tour, we’ll come back to the Plaza to share a picnic potluck and watch the sunset together. it’s really magical!


7:30 PM — 🗣️ Project talk + Q&A

We’ll talk a bit more about the project, answer questions, and show renders and photos that haven’t been released yet. You’ll get to connect with the architect, founders, project manager, and more.


8:00 PM — 🥂 Mingle, sobremesa + a special surprise 👀
