I’m from Norway and now live in Spain with my husband and three dogs.
Why the MEV?
The idea of the MEV started as a small dream of sharing life with people you love. My husband and I wanted to build our forever home, and were dreaming of having friends and family build on the same plot so we could live closer and set up common gardens and have chickens and maybe some goats. The more more people we would be, the easier it would be to maintain a vegetable garden and such. And from here on it just grew! :)
Who are you as a person?
I’m both introverted and quiet as well as the life of the party if I’m feeling social. I love animals and people with a passion. I love food and long walks and calm long mornings. I love books and music and long for a quiet life.
Passions in life
I love pottery! I’m not very good at it but I truly love it. I also love books and do dream of having a little book club! I also need movement in my life and love people who can drag me along for walks and pilates and such. I don't like anything that's fast or spikes adrenaline hehe.
How do you see your role in the MEV?
My role is to be the village influencer, I will use my online platforms to show the lifestyle of the MEV.
Your regular day in the MEV
Ah, slow quiet morning taking in the amazing energy that the plot has. Letting my eyes look long. Breathe. Play with my animals, long talks with my husband. Followed by a nice workout with new friends and family. Hopefully then work a bit in the gardens and then enjoy a nice long lunch with my new neighbours. After lunch I think I would honour the spanish siesta, and then I would love to either make a nice dinner at home or go out to the local restaurant to eat. Evenings I would love to spend watching the sunset with a glass of red wine or a good cup of tea, and hopefully listen to some live music every now and then.
