What drew you to the MEV and what excites you about living in this community?
The eco thinking and getting friends and hopefully something to do that feels meaningful
Who are you as a person? (personality, values, etc.)
I am openminded, independent and relaxed, smile a lot. Laugh with people i like, quiet and back of from people I dislike.
I have always worked with clients and I am used to interact with all kind of people.
But I also have a big need of time on my own, peace and quiet.
I am a country girl, have to live close to nature and animals to be happy.
Tell us about yourself and/or your family—your interests, hobbies, occupation, and passions.
I moved from north of Sweden to Spain 2008 with my ex husband. We lived close to La Zenia in a typical “tourist getto” until we divorced 2020.
Then I found my dream home on a small olive finca in Murcia where I have been living since. I am renting out a room in the house, a cabin and a caravan to women my age.
Two things made me want to move, first I feel lonely, in the summer when I have less guest, also people come and go, I miss closer friends.
Second, this has become too big for me, singel and 65 years. It is to much work with 10000m2 130 olive trees, and it is difficult to travel and leave it with dogs, chickens and irrigation.
I have been breeding horses for show jumping a big part of my adult life. And that has been my big passion.
I hope to be useful in the MEV and find meaningful relationships and harmony
I also hope there is interest for a choir since I miss singing (amateur)
What will be your role in the community? (e.g., sustainability projects, community gatherings, permaculture, holistic wellness, creative workshops, education, etc.)
I have done very different things in life and am open to whatever you think I can handle.
I have been a post office cashier, working in a supermarket as responsible for fruit and vegetables, had my own fast food restaurant, been a dental nurse and part owner of the dentist company and finally I have been receptionist in a lawyers office.
Now retired
I have new knee implants and on recovery so I hope I will be physically strong again with time.

What does your dream community look like? Dream day in the MEV?
I love to be surrounded with grounded, relaxed and warmhearted people who care about each other.
For me a mix of making myself useful and relaxed socialising is a perfect day.
Most if all, harmony and inner peace.
