Danilo and Fatima

Danilo: I think I am an easy going person with easy laugh and social.
I try to pay attention to people close to me and understand if they are comfortable and feel safe.

What country are you from?

Brazil and Spain

What drew you to the MEV and what excites you about living in this community?

Danilo: Being more connected to nature and people. Living a more "natural" life.
Living closer to parents in law.

Fatima: Self-sufficient, nature, organic food, nice weather all year, alternative school.

Who are you as a person? (personality, values, etc.)

Danilo: I think I am an easy going person with easy laugh and social.
I try to pay attention to people close to me and understand if they are comfortable and feel safe.

Tell us about yourself and/or your family—your interests, hobbies, occupation, and passions.

Danilo: My partner is Fátima Rodriguez Sanchez, who also filled this form.
We have a 2,6 years old boy, very active and smart. Which we want to raise in a more ""natural"" environment.

I am an IT engineer working in Germany, with almost 20 years experience.
I am Brazilian, 39 years old.

I enjoy playing football, going to the GYM, playing Guitar, singing, spending time with people.

What will be your role in the community? (e.g., sustainability projects, community gatherings, permaculture, holistic wellness, creative workshops, education, etc.)

Danilo: I am not sure. I am more an IT guy, but still strong physically.
I can help with any task that demands brute force, carrying heavy loads.

I also speaks Spanish and Portuguese, I am sure I can help a lot of people around.

In IT I can basically create any kind of automation and infrastructure.
If we want to be ""off-grid"", far from Big Techs harvesting our data, I can create that.
Alternatives for email, Whatsapp, Google Drive, Google Photos... all private and isolate.

Fatima: I am an elementary school teacher with 10 years experience in a German private school. I am also director of my own Online School where we teach Spanish for children on a fun way. We also teach some parents of those children. I love painting, hiking, reading... I would love to be involved in the education of children in MEV and also in Permaculture.

What does your dream community look like? Dream day in the MEV?

Danilo: I dream with a community with different types of people, with respect and good values.
Where we can gather around and discuss something from different angles, perspectives, backgrounds and create something beautiful.
