I’m a very curious and open-minded person, and I love learning new things that genuinely interest me. I enjoy trying out anything that adds beauty, joy, or growth to everyday life — whether it’s a new sport, water activities, wellbeing practices, personal development, bodywork, or different kinds of treatments that support feeling good in my skin. I also love exploring new foods and anything that makes everyday life feel more beautiful, lighter and more fun. I’m always excited to try new creative projects or learn new skills that inspire me.

After several moves, we’re excited to finally create a true home at the MEV and connect with a community that shares similar values.

And I’m sooooo excited for the conversations, gatherings, and those evenings filled with laughter and deep talks at the restaurant or down at the Village Beach😍.

What country are you from?

I’m originally from Germany, currently living in Mallorca with my partner and our little daughter since 2022.

What drew you to the MEV and what excites you about living in this community?

I was drawn to the MEV because it feels like a place where people want to live with intention, close to nature, connected to each other, and creating something meaningful together. What excites me most is the idea of raising my daughter in a community where children can play freely, where neighbors support one another, and where wellbeing, creativity, and conscious living are part of everyday life. It feels like a place where we can grow roots, contribute our strengths, and be surrounded by people who share similar values and dreams.

Tell us about yourself and/or your family—your interests, hobbies, occupation, and passions.

I’m deeply interested in personal development, conscious parenting, and the way we grow as individuals and as partners. I love exploring nutrition, holistic health, and everything that supports a vibrant, healthy lifestyle that feels light and enjoyable. Creativity is a big part of my life too — whether through cooking, designing spaces, or simple everyday moments that feel intentional. I’m trained in Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Pilates, and these practices are a grounding part of my routine. As a family, we spend a lot of time outdoors, exploring nature and enjoying simple moments together.

What will be your role in the community? (e.g., sustainability projects, community gatherings, permaculture, holistic wellness, creative workshops, education, etc.)

I see myself contributing to the MEV community in practical and creative ways. I work as a interior designer and focus on natural, healthy, and sustainably sourced materials. I love integrating custom-made pieces from skilled carpenters, combined with furniture and decor from selected stores or online — always paying close attention to quality and how the pieces support a long-lasting and comfortable home. I’d love to bring this into future projects in the village.

I can also imagine supporting the design of playgrounds, helping to create spaces that fit beautifully into the overall aesthetic of the village and give children places that are fun, meaningful, and thoughtfully planned.

Before moving into design, I worked as a social pedagogue for 15 years in various therapeutic settings with children, teenagers, and adults — including people with disabilities and in psychiatric care. I trained in parent guidance, where part of the work focuses on the inner child of the parents — helping them understand their own patterns and how these might show up again in their parenting. Families can always reach out to me if they need support, clarity, or someone who listens without judgment.

Later, I developed the concept for a full-day primary school, including ideas for how school aides can support children within the classroom, how meaningful holiday programs can be structured, and how afternoon activities and clubs can be designed to genuinely enrich the children’s personal development. After creating the concept, I went on to lead the full-day program of the school. I was also involved in building a youth center. Because of this background, I can imagine supporting the MEV with educational ideas, family spaces, or child-focused concepts.

Even though I completed my Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Pilates trainings for my own wellbeing, I can imagine offering something to the community as well — for example a weekly sunset Yin Yoga session to unwind at the end of the day. It could be a calm, restorative gathering where people relax together and then stay for a drink or some snacks, creating a gentle and easy way to connect.

Overall, I’m happy to contribute wherever my skills are useful — whether in design projects, community spaces, or family support — and to help create places that make life in the village feel welcoming, thoughtful, and enjoyable.

What does your dream community look like? Dream day in the MEV?

For me, a dream community is a place where people live with intention, kindness, and curiosity. A place where neighbors support each other, where children can play freely, and where adults feel inspired, grounded, and connected. I imagine a community where creativity, wellbeing, and personal growth are part of everyday life — not as pressure, but as something natural and fun. A place where we laugh together, share meals and the things we’ve grown in our gardens, learning from one another and truly feeling at home.

A dream day in the MEV would start slowly, with sunlight, fresh air, and a quiet walk through the village. Our daughter would play freely with other kids while we enjoy a relaxed morning. Later on, I’d love to join a yoga session, explore a creative project, try something new or you‘ll find ne in the Spa. In the afternoon, we’d spend time outdoors as a family, swim or simply enjoy the nature around us. And in the evening, I imagine easy, warm conversations with neighbors at the restaurant or Village Beach — laughing, talking about life, and sharing good food- all while feeling that beautiful sense of belonging that makes a place truly feel like home.

And at night, I picture complete peace — no cars, no airplanes, just the sound of nature through an open window and fresh air flowing into the room. A kind of quiet that makes the whole place feel safe, alive, and deeply grounding.
