What drew you to the MEV and what excites you about living in this community?
A desire to move back to Europe and live somewhere community is strongly valued.
Who are you as a person? (personality, values, etc.)
I'm a warm and welcoming person who values treating all people with love and respect. I have a cheeky sense of humor and love to make people laugh. I'm a Christian with progressive values and beliefs.
Tell us about yourself and/or your family—your interests, hobbies, occupation, and passions.
I'm currently a creative director for a non-profit and my hobbies and interests are: my very cute dog Scotty, travel, gardening, music (listening & performing), cooking, hosting and reading a good book in a hammock! I sing and play guitar as well.
What will be your role in the community? (e.g., sustainability projects, community gatherings, permaculture, holistic wellness, creative workshops, education, etc.)
I have a lot of experience creating welcoming environments and community so would be happy to help with that. I also love working in my vegetable garden and do a little food preservation like canning and making jam! I love yoga and pilates as well and would love to help teach classes in that! I also have a little dream of opening up a gin bar!
What does your dream community look like? Dream day in the MEV?
Slow morning at home working in my garden and drinking coffee outside. Then off to whatever activity I'm helping with on the property. In the evenings hosting gatherings at my home to help build community.
