What country are you from?
I'm from The Netherlands. I was born and raised near the sea (below sealevel;-) and ended up in burgundian 's-Hertogenbosch.
What drew you to the MEV and what excites you about living in this community?
Living in nature in connection with the community with a perfect climate (for me;-) Also the modern aspect and focus on health excites me. And be able to live mortgage-free, with low monthly expenses, so I can work as little as possible and contribute to the community by working in the gardens for example.
Who are you as a person? (personality, values, etc.)
I am an extrovert who gets energy from contact with other people and at the same time need my own time and silence in combination with nature. "A what you see is what you get" person who chooses her own paths. Humor and harmony are important for me.
Tell us about yourself and/or your family—your interests, hobbies, occupation, and passions.
My passions are walking with my dog Noa, traveling, reading and go for a drink and eat with Wibo and/or friends.
What will be your role in the community? (e.g., sustainability projects, community gatherings, permaculture, holistic wellness, creative workshops, education, etc.)
Helping in the bookstore/library and working in the gardens.
What does your dream community look like? Dream day in the MEV?
Wake up, walk with my dog Noa, take a swim, have a breakfast, work in the gardens or bookstore/library, have lunch and work for my brother or other clients remotely when needed or otherwise read and relax, prepare for diner or go out for diner in MEV restaurant, walk with my dog and enjoying the stars.
