What’s Happening at the Modern Eco Village 🌿 | April 2026

The past few months, our project has grown awareness quickly through local and national newspapers, even radio stations! The interest of our project has grown more than expected at this stage. The media have been reaching out, a few of our posts have gone viral, and the response from everyone has been really overwhelming in the best way. It's been a good reminder that what we're building here is exactly what we have been searching for. ☺️

Our Next Gathering 🧺

Our next MEV Gathering is happening on Saturday, May 9 (time to be confirmed), and we would love for you to join us. These gatherings are always a special opportunity to come together in person with others who share the same values and vision, and our last one brought members together from across Spain and around the world.

We’ll meet on-site and begin with a guided walk through the land, exploring the different areas of the project while getting a real feel for what we’re building here together ☀️ After the tour, we’ll gather for a relaxed lunch with delicious homemade food catered by a local, giving you the chance to connect, have meaningful conversations, and spend time with current and future members, as well as the team.

As our community continues to grow, these moments to meet face-to-face are becoming even more meaningful. To keep the experience intimate, attendance will be capped at 100 guests.

A quick heads-up about the membership: 

We recently increased the membership fee from €10.000 to €15.000 last month, and over the coming months (around summer time) we'll be phasing out the standalone membership option altogether.

The intention is to simplify things so that joining the community and reserving your home happen in one step rather than two to make the process more streamlined. So if you've been sitting on the fence about joining, now is probably a good time to take that next step or reach out to us with any questions. 

So what does membership actually get you? 🌿🌳

• Save your spot in the village. As the interest in our project is surging, our community is going viral, and major newspapers are reaching out, you’ll secure one of 500 spots available in the MEV. By joining early, you’re locking in the current member prices before they increase as the project develops. Members also get priority access to reserve your dream home and plot while homes are still available and options are open.

• Price locked in. With construction costs rising and demand growing, your investment stays protected. By becoming a member now you can lock in the current house prices. Normally these types of development projects increase their prices parallel with inflation, material and labor costs, and of course the market. That's why joining now, you will benefit from the current prices and it'll make for a great investment.

• Immediate connection. From day one, you’ll be plugged into our weekly member-only calls, invited to introduce yourself, and welcomed into community conversations designed to help you connect with other members right away, and regular in-person MEV gatherings (every 2–3 months). Many members are already relocating, meeting in person, and beginning to build the foundations of village life before we move in, which has been really fun to witness. 

• Hands-on involvement in the project - As a member, you’ll be the first to receive access to all project updates, decisions, milestones and help shape the MEV from the very beginning. With that in mind, you will also have a voice in the project. If you’re someone who loves to get involved, you can also join one of our community circles, which focuses on areas like health & wellness, education, food systems, and more. We will discuss important topics like new architectural designs or decisions that shape how the community functions.

• Work in the MEV - The MEV is projected to generate over 150 jobs. Early members will have priority access to future roles as opportunities emerge, whether it's a job in the village or running their own business. Do you want to open a restaurant, run a school, or build a regenerative farm? Members have the chance to bring their passions to life and contribute their skills in areas like education, food systems, wellness, gardens, and more. 

• Reserve your dream home - This step comes next. Once you’re a member, you’ll get exclusive access to reserve your dream home and location. Whether you want to live closer to the school, tucked into the forest edge, near the communal areas, or facing the lake or mountains, you’ll get to choose what suits you best and we will walk you through the whole process. 

☀️ What makes everyday life different here?

When we connect with current and future members, a few themes tend to come up:

• Parents want their children to grow up with more freedom and space, surrounded by like-minded families in a safe, car-free environment.

• People are craving real connection, a sense of belonging, and a close-knit community that supports mental wellbeing.
