Your Space Is in Good Hands 😊

Hi everyone, I'm Jane 👋

I know everyone is eager to start the design process - it's the best part, right?! While the design team works on all the details behind the scenes, I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. I’m Jane, Head of Interior Design at The MEV! After years with my own design firm in New York City, I recently relocated to Spain, bringing my genuine excitement to pour everything I know and love about design into this community.

I would love to share a little bit about who I am and how I came to The MEV. There are very exciting and important updates waiting for you after my story, so please make sure to keep reading!

🌆☀️About me

I was raised just outside NYC and spent the last 25 years living and working in Manhattan. New York shaped me in ways I carry with pride - its bustling energy, its fearless people, its endless creativity. A part of me will always feel deeply connected to it.

But after decades of giving everything to the city that demanded exactly that in return, I needed something different; a place I could finally exhale, reconnect with myself, and live with genuine presence and purpose. The MEV offered what was missing: human connection and authenticity. My sister Kate and her family were already members and introduced me to something I never imagined possible: a life, with my family in it. Two months later, my dog CeCe and I packed our bags, boarded the flight to Spain, and didn't look back.

For me, The MEV is a realignment. It is a community that shares the belief that thoughtful, ergonomic design improves daily life. A community where honoring how you use your space and how you feel in your space is just as important as how it looks.

Joining The MEV as Head of Interior Design feels like the culmination of everything I have worked toward in design, and I could not be more proud. I hold a Bachelor of Science from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Savannah College of Art and Design, and now, here I am at The MEV, ready to put all of it to work for the community!

💻✏️ What to expect

I will personally walk each of you through the design process, starting with a reach out to discuss the design timeline and to schedule your initial design consultation. At that time, you will receive The Catalogue, our collection of design specifications from which you will select finishes and fixtures for your home. Through a series of design consultations, we will finalize your floor plan and work through The Catalogue together. For those who wish to go further, we can explore additional design services and bespoke options outside the scope of The Catalogue.

Here is what this looks like depending on your membership:

🏡 If you are already a member and have fully reserved your plot, you will hear from me in the coming days to get things started.

🌿 If you are a member but have not yet reserved your plot, now is the perfect time to do so! Please book a call with Alisa to get the process rolling.☺️

🌱 If you are not yet a member but are curious about The MEV and the community we are building, we invite you to book a call with our team here.

If you would like to attend our next gathering on Saturday, July 25th, I will have a design booth and would love to connect in person and to answer any questions you may have. If you can make it the day before, join me on Friday, July 24th at our partnering kitchen showroom for an open house and informal chat. 😊

There is so much to look forward to, and I personally look forward to connecting with each of you soon!

Warmly,

Jane Harrison
